A homeowner near the University of Oklahoma hired us to trap and remove skunks living beneath his home. We recommended permanent exclusion, but he initially chose trapping alone.

Over approximately three years, the property required repeated visits and more than 15 skunks were removed. The underlying shelter remained accessible, so additional skunks continued using the same property.

The homeowner eventually approved permanent exclusion. Skunks are still occasionally seen traveling near the creek, but they no longer have access to shelter beneath the home and no longer stay there.
