Oklahoma Wildlife Removal
Wildlife Removal by Animal in Oklahoma
True Care Wildlife removes common nuisance wildlife from homes across the Oklahoma City metro, including raccoons, squirrels, mice, rats, bats, opossums, skunks, snakes, birds, and armadillos.
Different animals use homes differently. The right solution depends on the species, where it entered, the structure, the season, and whether dependent young may be present.
Start with what you notice: scratching, running, droppings, odor, damaged vents, digging, nesting, or activity beneath the home.
Our inspection is designed to identify the animal, locate the active entry point, and explain the right next step.
Wildlife We Handle
Common Oklahoma Wildlife We Remove
These are the primary nuisance wildlife species we help Oklahoma homeowners remove from attics, walls, crawlspaces, garages, chimneys, rooflines, and areas beneath structures.
Raccoon Removal
Raccoons are powerful animals that can enlarge weak areas around soffits, vents, rooflines, and chimneys.
- Heavy nighttime attic movement
- Damaged soffits or vents
- Large droppings or latrine areas
- Possible dependent young
Squirrel Removal
Squirrels commonly enter around roof returns, soffits, fascia, vents, and other upper roofline openings.
- Fast daytime movement
- Chewed openings
- Activity near eaves and roof returns
- Potential wire damage
Mouse Removal
Mice can use very small openings around brick transitions, rooflines, garages, foundations, weep holes, and utility penetrations.
- Small droppings
- Wall or ceiling movement
- Chewing and nesting
- Multiple small entry points
Rat Removal
Rats may enter through utility penetrations, foundation openings, vents, and damaged materials and can enlarge weak areas by chewing.
- Nighttime movement
- Larger rodent droppings
- Grease or rub marks
- Chewed entry points
Bat Removal
Bats can use small gaps high on a home, especially around rooflines, trim, vents, fascia, and brick-to-roof transitions.
- Upper-roofline openings
- Staining near entry areas
- Droppings below roosting points
- Seasonal removal considerations
Bat exclusion requires careful timing and a removal plan appropriate for the season and structure.
Bat Identification & Removal Information →Opossum Removal
Opossums are usually opportunistic. They commonly use existing openings rather than creating their own entry point.
- Missing or damaged foundation vents
- Crawlspace activity
- Activity beneath decks or structures
- Occasional entry into living spaces
Once inside a crawlspace, opossums may follow plumbing and structural voids farther into a home.
Opossum Removal & Entry Information →Skunk Removal
Skunks commonly shelter beneath decks, sheds, porches, additions, and other protected ground-level areas.
- Strong or recurring odor
- Digging around structures
- Denning beneath decks or porches
- Recurring ground-level activity
Snake Removal
Snakes may enter garages, living spaces, or occasionally attics, especially where rodents or other prey are already present.
- Snake inside the home or garage
- Rodent activity nearby
- Exterior hiding areas
- Open structural access points
Bird Removal & Control
Birds may nest or roost around vents, chimneys, rooflines, porch areas, canopies, signs, ledges, and commercial structures.
- Nesting in vents or chimneys
- Roosting on ledges or canopies
- Bird droppings and nesting debris
- Commercial exclusion needs
Bird-control solutions can include exclusion, netting, deterrent systems, and structural protection when appropriate.
Bird Removal & Commercial Bird Control →Armadillo Removal
Armadillos are strong diggers that can burrow near foundations, landscaping, sheds, porches, and other protected areas.
- Large digging or burrows
- Ground disturbance
- Activity near foundations
- Burrows beneath structures
When armadillos are using areas beneath structures, removal and prevention should address both the animal and continued access.
Armadillos Under Structures →Not Sure Which Animal?
Start With the Evidence
Homeowners often call us before they know the species. The location of activity, time of day, sounds, droppings, tracks, odor, damage, and entry-point size can all help narrow down the likely animal.
Identification matters because a mouse, raccoon, bat, squirrel, snake, or skunk should not be approached with the same removal plan.
Use Our Oklahoma Wildlife Identification Guide →Common Wildlife Clues
Daytime attic running: often consistent with squirrel activity.
Heavy nighttime attic movement: may indicate a larger animal such as a raccoon.
Small widespread droppings: often point toward mice or another rodent.
Strong odor beneath a structure: may indicate a skunk or another animal using the space.
Tiny upper-roofline gaps: can be consistent with bat entry.
More Than Animal Removal
The True Care Home Protection Standard™
Removing the animal is only one part of solving a wildlife problem. The complete solution considers the animal, the active entry route, the home, and what may happen after the current animal is gone.
Explore the Home Protection Standard™ →Understand the Home
Identify the animal, active entry points, structural vulnerabilities, damage, and visible contamination.
Solve Today’s Wildlife Problem
Use a species-appropriate removal plan based on the animal, structure, season, location, activity, and possible dependent young.
Help Protect for the Future
Repair agreed entry points and address affected areas so another animal cannot simply take advantage of the same opening.
Species Matters
Different Wildlife Requires Different Removal Strategies
Wildlife removal is not one universal trapping service.
A squirrel using a roof return, a raccoon with dependent young, mice entering through multiple construction gaps, bats using upper roofline openings, and a skunk denning beneath a porch all require different decisions.
Depending on the species and situation, removal may involve one-way exits, hand removal, monitoring, trapping when appropriate, or another species-specific strategy.
Permanent exclusion should be completed in the proper order so active wildlife is not accidentally sealed inside the structure.
The Complete Solution
Removal Is One Part of Wildlife Service
The animal that caused the call is important, but the structure and the entry route matter too. Inspection, exclusion, and cleanup support a complete wildlife solution when those services are needed.
Wildlife Inspection
Identify the animal, activity, entry route, accessible damage, and visible contamination before deciding what work the home needs.
Wildlife Inspections →Wildlife Exclusion
Repair and reinforce agreed entry points after the active animal situation has been properly resolved.
Wildlife Exclusion →Cleanup & Restoration
Address droppings, nesting material, odor, contamination, or damaged insulation when the conditions at the home support cleanup.

Oklahoma Wildlife Removal FAQs
What animals does True Care Wildlife remove?
True Care Wildlife helps with common Oklahoma nuisance wildlife including raccoons, squirrels, mice, rats, bats, opossums, skunks, snakes, armadillos, and certain nuisance birds.
Do I need to know what animal is in my home?
No. Our inspection uses the available evidence, including sounds, droppings, tracks, damage, location, timing, odor, and entry points, to help identify the wildlife involved.
Do you always trap wildlife?
No. Trapping is one possible tool rather than the entire service. Depending on the species and situation, removal may involve one-way exits, hand removal, monitoring, trapping when appropriate, or another species-specific method.
Why can’t you just seal the hole immediately?
Permanently closing an active entry point before the wildlife situation is understood can trap an animal inside or separate dependent young. Removal and exclusion need to happen in the proper order.
Do different animals require different exclusion repairs?
Yes. The size, location, construction material, and way the animal entered all affect the appropriate repair. A mouse gap, squirrel opening, raccoon-damaged vent, and bat entry point are different structural problems.
Do you offer free wildlife inspections?
Free wildlife inspections are available for homeowners who live in the home within our regular service area. Inspections for landlords, tenants, and certain other situations are not automatically free.
Does wildlife exclusion include a warranty?
Qualifying exclusion work includes a written warranty, and renewable lifetime coverage is available under the terms of our warranty program.
